All Africa Adventures cc started in 2002 to organize tours for volunteers who works either in social or nature project.

After trying to find and looking into existing projects and volunteer work to help the country and the disadvantaged community in an interesting way for both the locals and volunteers, We realized that most projects are done and organized in the Western Cape and especially Cape Town.

The Eastern Cape is the poorest and most rural of all the areas in South Africa with the greatest opportunities to make a difference. All our projects start from Port Elizabeth, from where you will be transported by us to your projects.

With the Eastern Cape in mind, we contacted the Department of Social Development in Humansdorp to find out if they have any projects available where volunteers can give a helping hand. After many consultations and visiting the areas we identified several projects in a very rural area with a unemployment rate of more than 80% and very few opportunities, the locals are very friendly where everybody knows everybody and crime is a only a word in the newspapers.

To enjoy Volunteer Work in South Africa to its fullest, you should arrive with an open mind, be willing to adapt, and use your initiative. All Africa Volunteers is an organization dealing direct with the projects to save admin costs to you the volunteer and to ensure that all funds go directly to the projects you are trying to support. We are based in Jeffrey's Bay so we offer volunteer opportunities in our general area to be close by to offer any assistance needed.
